We don’t get to make choices about the life we are born into, but we do get to make choices about the people we become- and who we allow to support us on that journey. Part of my outlook is to consider how your upbringing impacted you and how overarching societal systems interact to create the environments that shape us as we age. I use attachment theory to understand how you developed relationally within your family of origin, and I encourage narrative therapy to empower you to regain control of your approach to yourself and your life; I trust and believe that, with support and guidance, you can become the version of yourself that you dream about. As a therapist, I am here to help you explore yourself, your past, and life’s possibilities.

Big or small, trauma is something that most of us experience at least once in our lives, so it is important to me to use a trauma-informed lens in our work together. I am curious, compassionate, and take a strengths-based approach. I believe that difference enriches our lives, experiences, and perspectives, but at the core, we are all human. I use a multi-cultural approach so we have the ability to connect authentically. I infuse neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ affirming care, because I know that honoring your intersectional identity is essential to developing safety in sessions together. There is not a uniform path to healing, but I trust that we can find the courage within you to take the first step in yours. You and I will collaborate to identify achievable goals. I am here to affirm you, celebrate how far you have come, and gently challenge you, when appropriate, as we move forward. Your feedback is a welcomed part of our collaboration and therapeutic relationship.

I started my higher education journey at Transylvania University, where I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with a minor in French. I am an Independent Clinical Licensed Social Worker Associate (LSWAIC), which means I have a Masters of Social Work degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and I am working on getting my clinical hours to become a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). Most of my professional experience comes from supporting marginalized and traumatized individuals to navigate resources, community, and life with a sense of worth and purpose.

Are you struggling with your sense of self, boundaries, anxiety, life transitions, grief, understanding healthy relationships after being subjected to sexual violence, exploring your queer identity, or accepting your past? I applaud you for engaging with these heavy thoughts and feelings and taking the first step to seek out support; I am honored to sit with you in your vulnerability. Let’s set up a 15 minute consultation call or schedule an intake session to see if you and I are a good fit. It is important to me that you feel understood and accepted so that you can access a sense of bravery and develop autonomy on your healing journey. I am here to support you- you can do this!

I was struggling with my anxiety and depression and I wasn’t sure what to do. After searching all over Seattle I finally came across Seattle Wellness Center. Their staff was warm, welcoming and accommodating to my needs. I could not thank them enough for everything they have done.
