I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who holds a Master’s Degree in Community Mental Health Counseling from Southern New Hampshire University and have been working in the field of mental health for over 20 years. I have worked in a variety of treatment settings including outpatient community mental health, psychiatric emergency room, department of corrections and acute inpatient psychiatric care.
I provide therapy for adults while addressing a wide range of issues including: Anxiety, Depression, Stress/life Adjustment Issues, Relationship Problems, Finding Meaning or Purpose in Life, Gender Identity, Mixed Racial Identity Issue, Postpartum Depression & Psychosis. I use an eclectic blend of treatment modalities including: strength-based therapy, cognitive & dialectical behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, humanistic & positive psychology.
I recognize that every individual is different, and when they are struggling to navigate life they deserve a support system/approach that is uniquely tailored to their strengths. Each and every person is of value and so is their story that they have to tell. I believe that therapy offers opportunities for new learning, skill-building, self-discovery, as well as empowerment and healing.
I am of the holistic & humanistic soul. Every being deserves to experience life's moments with unconditional support. I believe in the power of humor, mindfulness, and gratitude. Therapy work shouldn’t just put a band-aid over your problems and send you out the door. We will work together to find a pace that suits your comfort level, good therapy works to help you to heal on a deeper level. This process can produce fundamental and substantial changes, the kind of changes that go the distance.

I was struggling with my anxiety and depression and I wasn’t sure what to do. After searching all over Seattle I finally came across Seattle Wellness Center. Their staff was warm, welcoming and accommodating to my needs. I could not thank them enough for everything they have done.
