I do not believe that people are flawed or broken. I do believe there are significant areas of pain and struggle, which therapy can address and help with, whether that has to do with past trauma, anxieties, environmental stressors, systemic issues, and more. I believe in the power of therapy as a tool for transformation through compassionate collaboration and skillful means. I consider a therapist to be both a guide and a witness, and I bring my expertise in techniques and pj while honoring your expertise in your life experiences. Therapy is an active process that can result in profound changes which requires effort on both of our parts. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with over fifteen years of experience in the mental health field. I've worked in many different therapeutic settings and bring a curious, open-minded approach to the work.

I help creative, big-hearted people move from burnout and depletion into engagement and contentment. I work with adults struggling with issues related to grief, trauma, anxiety, eating disorders, burnout, and more. I specialize in supporting fellow healthcare providers, service professionals, and creatives. I approach therapy in a holistic, integrative way, meaning that I will pull from various evidence-based modalities, creating a treatment plan and approach that is unique to you: your learning style, your goals, and your interests.

When it comes to balanced living, using helpful skills, and caring for the self, I do my best to walk the talk. I’m honest about it, too. I’m not going to pretend like I have everything figured out—we are all a work in progress. When I'm not doing therapy work, I am often working on a writing project, fussing over my plants, eating delicious food, or lifting weights at the gym.

I was struggling with my anxiety and depression and I wasn’t sure what to do. After searching all over Seattle I finally came across Seattle Wellness Center. Their staff was warm, welcoming and accommodating to my needs. I could not thank them enough for everything they have done.
