I believe that change is one of the most challenging and beautiful parts of life. Whether you’re struggling with a present situation, past experiences, or future uncertainties, it can be difficult to navigate those changes alone. I feel honored to join my clients on their journey through life’s obstacles, big and small. There’s nothing more meaningful to me than creating a welcoming, open place for clients to explore the complexities of their experiences.
I am an Associate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHCA) with a Master of Arts in Education from Seattle University. I believe that it can be transformational for people to have a space where they are respected and appreciated for being their authentic self. I operate primarily from person-centered and narrative therapy approaches, while remaining strength-based and solution-focused. My background as a school counselor offers a systems lens to my counseling which helps identify barriers within larger contexts and understands the multifaceted ways that situations impact our lives. I believe that my clients are the authors of their own stories and the experts of their experiences.
The goals we set stem from your strengths, which I have found lends itself best to creating lasting, positive change that fits each client’s envisioned future. I support my clients through the process of examining the unhelpful, dominant narratives that impact their wellbeing and create meaning in their lives, and I encourage my clients to write their own stories that better fit their values, perspectives, and experiences of the world around them.

I was struggling with my anxiety and depression and I wasn’t sure what to do. After searching all over Seattle I finally came across Seattle Wellness Center. Their staff was warm, welcoming and accommodating to my needs. I could not thank them enough for everything they have done.
